TOMS shoes

I came across this brand / company (not sure if that’s really the right words to use ) which gives a free pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair you buy. I personally think that this is an amazing concept. As many people will agree there seems to be a really shift in the way people approach fashion, yes I admit that I’m a whore to cheap and fast fashion, I like the idea of going into the town and coming away with bags full of new clothes, but I‘m being to question the origins of these clothes and what conditions they were made in. I’m not meaning to preach the whole, eco-friendly, fair-trade way of shopping, since I guess that everybody already knows that. However knowing that by buying a pair of shoes will give a child in need a pair of shoes, doesn’t seen such a bad idea. Plus reading the work that Blake Mycoskie has done is really inspiring. So next time i take a trip into the land of the high street, i'm going to make a point of giving a child in need some shoes rather than some money to Mr Green (the guy that owns topshop).

www.TOMSshoes.com (sorry i'm not sure on how to add a link or picture, told you this was a working progress)
